The Gold Coast Greens South is holding their Annual General Meeting on 20/08/2008 from 6pm to 7pm.

1. The next AGM will be held on
Wednesday 20 August at 6.00pm - 6.45pm
At: Simplicity room – (Simplicity Funerals)
2140 Gold Coast Hwy, Miami. (opp. Miami High School)

2. All executive positions will be vacated and calls made for members of the Gold Coast Greens to nominate for them as follows:
Convenor – Deputy-Convenor – Secretary – Treasurer

3. Other positions vacant and for which nominations are invited:
Three delegates to state council

URGENT NOTE
President of the Australian Dental Association of Queensland, Dr. John Wills has contacted the Gold Coast Greens on 14APR08 to advise he will not be attending the information night on 16APR08. The information night will continue with Mrs. Merilyn Haines speaking.

The public is invited for discussion and information regarding the introduction of fluoride into Queensland water supplies for communities over 1000 people.

President of QAWF (Queenslander's Against Water Fluoridation) Mrs. Merilyn Haines will present information.

President of ADAQ (Australian Dental Association Queensland) Dr. John Wills will present information.

Members of the public will also present some short information followed by questions from the public.

Mints, tea and coffee provided by the Gold Coast Greens South.

Information:
Last year Nuclear Free Gold Coast supporters held a vigil for Palm Sunday outside federal MP Margaret May's office at Palm Beach. We drew attention to the advantages and abundance of sustainable energy sources in Australia rather than the nuclear-powered future and sales of uranium to non-signatories of the nuclear non-proliferation treaty proposed by the former government.
