Queensland council elections review

DLGP have produced a discussion paper "the Local Government Electoral Arrangements", it is most significiant as it relates to what happened at the Gold Coast.

Feedback should be submitted in writing to the Department by 5pm on 1st March 2006. (as stated in discussion paper). There is also a simple online questionaire that you can submit if you are short of time.

As the State Government is reviewing the rules that deal with council elections it is now your opportunity to help ensure council elections are well managed and are a fair and open process.
