Until further notice, Northern Gold Coast Greens meetings will be taking place online via Skype.
To take part please download skype from http://skype.com and add Steve Dalton as a contact - his username is "spidieman". Meetings will take place at the same time on the 3rd Wednesday of the month. We usually do just text chat - as it's to hard to do audio with a lot of people, and text makes for easier minutes.

The Walk Against Warming on the Gold Coast takes place on November 11th, 2 weeks before the general election.
For more information on the Walk Against Warming - please see walk website http://walk.climatemessengers.com.au and the main WAW website http://walkagainstwarming.org/
The walk commences at 1pm from the Broadwater car park, Southport proceeding to the G.W. Griffith park at the end of North St. The maps below show the route.
The Gold Coast Greens are proud to present the Greens candidates for voters on the Gold Coast:
Queensland Senate: Larissa Waters
Fadden: Michael Beale
Moncrieff: Carla Brandon
McPherson: Ben O'Callaghan
Forde: Andy Grodecki
Please see the main Greens website for more information on the campaign.
And remember, voting Green is double value voting. It sends a strong message to whoever is elected. And if that’s not your Greens candidate, your vote carries on at full value to the major party candidate of your choice. You don’t have to vote twice to get double value – simply vote Green.

One of our supporters, Petrina, has written a poem for David Suzuki. I have placed the poem on it's own site here. Feel free to go to the site and read it, you can also comment if you wish.
